Manufacturing operations begin in Youngstown, Ohio. A trunk maker by trade establishes the workshop that becomes Armored Trunk Mfg. Co.

Factory-Scale Production

The operation grows from a craftsman’s shop to a full trunk factory, producing trunks and footlockers for military and civilian use.
