Co. trademark with the USPTO in 1923, relocated its manufacturing to Los Angeles around 1930, and incorporated in California in 1986. Four generations of the same family have carried the work — from trunks and footlockers to engineered protective transport — in continuous operation for over a century.

Manufacturing relocates to Los Angeles, confirmed by the 1930 U.S. Census. The company has built in Los Angeles ever since.

1940s

Wartime production continuity — trunks, cases, and transport equipment through the war years. In-house cut-and-sew textile capability dates to this era.

1986

The Armored Group, Inc. incorporated in the State of California.

Today

The fourth generation leads the company and its two operating companies — Innerspace Cases and Armored Trunk Mfg. Co. — from one Los Angeles facility.
